I choose the Accord.

Mustang. Sorry I am a fan boy, plus it is the better car. It may not get the same Magazine performance numbers but between the interior, visibility and size its a way better car.

Somebody vote for that poor, hideous, Chevrolet. This is just embarrassing. It deserves at least one vote. Just not mine.

It looks like the rear window is slightly more usable in the Mustang... so that.

In this particular scenario tho, the 1LE is a higher option from the GT, it would be like the Performancece Pack or something wouldn't it? It is an add-on to the SS models, so I would think a more fair comparison might be SS to GT. But nonetheless.... I'd take both
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:42 |
|
optioned out they both end up costing the same, 1le and GT track pack
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:44 |
|
Yeah that is what I was saying, might be worth adding Track pack to the GT listing :)
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:47 |

I'd rather have a proper Pony car

The Challenger Scat Pack
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:48 |

Bout time Honda jumped on the V8 bandwagon!
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:54 |
|
aww now I feel bad for forgetting about the challenger.
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:54 |

that GT rear view looks like a snake head.
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:57 |

In this matchup, I would probably go Mustang. There's about a 350 pound difference, and you gotta be able to feel that.
![]() 01/12/2015 at 15:58 |

They make V8 indy car engines...
![]() 01/12/2015 at 16:01 |
|
...but not V8 passenger car engines. :(
![]() 01/12/2015 at 16:03 |
|
But they make awesome V6s!
![]() 01/12/2015 at 16:04 |

Between the two, I'd have to choose the Mustang. With that in the mix, there is no contest to what I would choose, comfort and power over corner carving all day.

Camaro, because it's better
![]() 01/12/2015 at 16:07 |

Don't feel bad, most people forget about it everyday.

Was about to post this.
Pimpingest of them all.

I was in this situation and ended up with a GT, and even decided against the performance pack because of it. It really doesn't matter who can pull 0.03 g more on the skipad, but the refreshed mustang was just a better car and a better place to be inside.
Also, if I really wanted a track car it wouldn't be a 3700-3800 mustang or camaro

http://m.motortrend.com/roadtests/coup…
Mustang 3814
Camaro 3886
Mustangs turning into quite the fatty in his old age.

Crap. That's nuts. Porker indeed.
My old minivan was 4300 wet. That's within 500 pounds. So 2 large men in a 'pony' car weighs the same as an empty minivan.
What's happened to this world?

you got a 2015?!! someone give this man authorship!
![]() 01/12/2015 at 17:21 |

false v6's aren't awesome
![]() 01/12/2015 at 17:23 |

I would go with the Mustang right off the bat. Its been immensely updated and history and all that. But its hard to argue against magnetic shocks and the way Chevrolet has put their effort into the Camaro when they could have easily just left their focus on other cars in their lineup.
I pick the Z/28. :P
![]() 01/12/2015 at 17:29 |
|
it's a 1LE, not a z/28.
![]() 01/12/2015 at 18:03 |

I finally saw a 15 Mustang a few days ago. Sitting behind it at a light. Reminds me of a girl with no ass. But at least it improves rear visibility right?

Picked up on thursday, took this over the weekend:
GT Premium, Manual - Ruby Red Paint with 19" Wheel + Tire Package
![]() 01/12/2015 at 18:24 |

Yeah I know. But I pick the Z/28.

...but have lost the technology to make driveshafts.
![]() 01/15/2015 at 01:14 |

V6s still aren't awesome. Twin turbo V6s can be. And the XJ220 was supposed to be a V12, so even this car is self-hating V6.
![]() 01/15/2015 at 01:15 |
|
The XJ220 is a V6 TT.
![]() 01/15/2015 at 03:55 |

That's my point...1337HPMustang said V6s (all Honda gives us) aren't awesome, and you responded with a V6TT. Worlds apart. But I'll approve the following:
Honda engines are (two turbos & a driveshaft away from being) awesome.

Do I even have to say with my name and all?
